Lightroad is a blended finance advisory and platform company that designs, structures, and manages catalytic capital solutions to unlock different pools of capital for sustainable development.

We work at the intersection of philanthropic capital, CSR, development finance institutions, governments, and financial institutions to build structured blended finance facilities across sectors such as climate, health, livelihoods, skilling, education, circular economy and others.

Today, Lightroad operates as both:
• A strategic and structuring advisor to funders and institutions
• A transaction and facility manager for blended finance mechanisms

We are simultaneously building a technology-enabled blended finance platform to improve standardisation, transparency, and scalability across transactions.

From Advisory to Infrastructure

Blended finance remains fragmented and bespoke. Most structures are manually designed, slow to execute, and difficult to replicate.

Lightroad began by advising institutions on blended finance strategy and structuring, working closely with funders, NBFCs, multilateral agencies, and social enterprises to design practical catalytic capital mechanisms.

Through this work, we identified a structural gap:
Blended finance lacks standardised infrastructure for structuring, capital orchestration, and portfolio monitoring.

Our long-term direction is to transition from bespoke structuring mandates toward a modular, technology-enabled blended finance operating system that supports repeatable execution.
